Retreats
According to the dictionary, to retreat is "to retire or withdraw, as to seclusion or shelter." For businesses, a retreat is a "time out" - for a team, department or organization so that the participants can fully focus on the task at hand, away from the distractions back in the office, in a place of safety and privacy. Participants bond with each other through the retreat experience, as they work together, participate in various activities and have fun. In most instances, the participants return to work energized, with new perspectives and motivation to focus on the organization's goals.
